If before finding Alfa you used to manage your book collection in Excel, Access or another book organizer, you can quickly import all your books to Alfa using the "Import from CSV" tool.
Before importing your book list, open it in Excel and arrange the columns in the needed order. If a book has several authors, genres, tags - separate them by coma. Then save the table as CSV file.
In Alfa open Menu -> Import -> CSV and drug the fields you want to import from right to left. Make sure that the field list has the same order as in your CSV file (you can control it in the Preview box).
Note, that the CSV file should be in UTF8 encoding. Other encodings may result in character transformation. If your Excel works with other encoding, than after saving table to CSV, open this file in Notepad, and save to TXT file with UTF8 encoding.
