Hi,
i just noticed that the genres appear in the same order as they were added instead of alphabetical order (at least in sub genres). As i'm going to have a lot of genres, i'd really appreciate an option to sort the genres alphabetically.
Did i just miss it or would it be possible to include it in the next release?
Best regards,
Andr?
P.S.: Thanks for this really great and unrivaled product. Please keep up the good work - and i already have some ideas for further improvements. ;-)

Hi Andre, thanks for your kind words.
Really, the genres are sorted alphabetically but sub genres - are not. We'll correct this in the next release
We'll be happy if you share your other ideas with us
Thank you, here are a few things:
1. I found a bug. I created a folder (OS Win7) named "Spiritualit?t" which contains a german special vowel. The books in this folder were successfully scanned and saved, but after import, they were not linked and i was not able to open the bookfiles or read the properties.
2. I wanted to delete those unlinked books, but i found no easy workflow. Finally, i selected each book in particular and deleted them. Selecting about 200 books is not much fun :) I would appreciate if you could add easy multiple file selection for example using space key and strg+a for all. And some shortcuts for the menu options also would be nice.
3. It would also be helpful to list (only) all books without genre. With this option i would have been able to delete all unlinked books with 3 clicks instead of 201 ;-)
4. In the genre editor, an option to delete all unused genres at once would also be nice.
Sorry if i just got something wrong with the usage, but this things are currently bothering me. :)
Thanks,
Andr?
Andre,
1. Were the ebooks in other folders (without erman special vowel in name) linked properly?
2. You can select multiple books using Ctrl-A or using Shift+mouse and then delete them using Books -> Delete Books menu
3. ok, we'll add this filter to Queries in the left pane
4. we'll consider this feature
Thanks for your help!
Sorry for delay.
1. Yes, ebooks in other folders are linked properly. If i rename the folder without german vowel, they are also linked properly.
2. Ctrl-A is working, thx. ;) But shift+mouse does not (i tried all views). Shift+mouse and ctrl+mouse functionality as known from Microsoft software would be really useful.
Thanks,
Andr?
Andre, probably you use not the latest version. We added shift+mouse in the v 1.9
Please contact support to get the update
I'm using 1.9.1.0, but it's really not working. Shouldn't be so difficult to use and i tried on 2 computers, so i don't have any idea.
ok, than send us to support@alfaebooks.com your Windows version and we'll try to find out why it doesn't work on your computer
