Covers Saved But Not the New Data

Using the latest version of Alfa eBooks Manager, I spent yesterday entering hundreds of new titles and changing categories on a thousand more. Today I discover that although the covers have been saved, much of the other new data entered later in the day has not been saved in the database. I have just successfully re-entered one of the new titles but all the new category options from yesterday are missing. Very frustrating!

Jacko, could you please describe the process, how did you update the book data?
Also please send us your database file to support@alfaebooks.com, we'll check if it's not corrupted

I clicked on "Books" then "Add New Book" then entered book data, searched for and imported the cover and further data by using either the title or ISBN number then chose the category by selecting from the list of options. I updated by using the update button.
When I added a new category or changed a category, the new category was added to the list of category options available. I closed the program as I always do by clicking the cross in the top right corner. I close the program regularly so that I don't lose any data.

In summary, new book data was entered and obtained then updated by clicking the "update" button. Following this, the added data, cover and any new category appeared as part of the database. On at least one occasion, including my final use of the program for the day, after closing the database and rebooting all added data except the new covers was found to be missing. The problem has not been replicated since.

In addition to adding hundreds of new books, I changed the categories for existing books using the method I have recently outlined in the forum. I have since re-entered all the missing data successfully but am still in the process of finding all the categories which did not remain changed. I have sent you the database file.

Jacko, please try to remember, did the program ask you to Save data during that faulty session?
Also, we still haven't received your database via OneDrive
