Book Search plugins updates

Dear Alfa.Netsoft, first of all, I want to say that this is an awesome piece of software. No other Ebook-Management-Library-System could fullfill all my requirements to such an extent as this. I am seriously considering of buying it. There are just two things that I would like to know, though. Maybe you could..

1. Updating book parameters does not seem to get Series and Genre information does not seem to work for me. Is it possibly a bug?

2. Those Plugins getting the info in the first place, are they custimisable? Because once a search interface of amazon.com for instance changes they would be useless one would be forced to upgrade.

Dear Michael, Thanks for your kind words.

1. Because different sources contain different genres that can duplicate each other, we prefer to select genre for each book manually from the personal list. But in the next version we plan to enable genre import probably in the tags field. And Series import works in the current version.

2. If the book data site changes we change the plugin, and you can download and reinstall it. BTW Amazon has changed its API a month ago and we fixed the plugin before the new API was introduced.

Just one last thing. The Amazon.de plugin does not seem to work. Is it possiply that it hasn't been adapted to the API-changes yet?

I've just a question about Amazon plugin that seem not work at all in last weeks, it's because changes in Amazon API ? There will be new releases/updates in the next future?

Jennifer, are you sure, that amazon plugin doesn't work?
What version you use? Latest is 0.8.0.0

I'am using the latest available in the plugin page (Amazon.com 0.8.0.19578; Amazon.uk 0.2.0.29528, etc.), but still have no results at all from all Amazon sites. For example, looking for ISBN13 = 978-0321507433 (Ecology: The Experimental Analysis of Distribution and Abundance - 6th Edition) in all sites, I only receive results only from GoogleBooks, Barnes&Nobles, ISBNDB, Papasotiriu.gr but nothing from any Amazon sites even if doing the same research from their search page the book is always correctly reported. Thanks again.

Please try to do as shown on the image.
Note:
You can't use for example amazon.com and amazon.co.uk at the same time.
Just one amazon plugin per starting software.

I thought that the above could be the problem because I (usually) try several Amazon sites at the same time; however, even selecting just one at time still no results are reported (I save a screen picture like you did, but I cannot post here) even if I tried also after having closed and restarted the program . Likely it's a problem of my system ... I am still using Win Xp (but all other issues work perfectly).
