AEM and Windows 7 64 bit

I have windows7 64 bit and when i need to scan and save book files (pdf) in the database or when i need to link a pdf file within a new book card it takes too much time for it. Do i have a problem?

It depends on how many books you scan and save. Of course attaching a file should be instant. How long this process takes in your case?

It takes at least 30 seconds for one book. There is a message "converting pdf". I think that someting is wrong.

Yes, it's wrong. Does it happen only with PDF files?

Alfa doesn't perform any converting when attaching files. Probably some other program on your computer starts running when you touch pdf files
