We are happy to announce the new update - Alfa Ebooks Manager 1.9. It's not so revolutionary as the previous one but includes a lot of small improvements, requested by our customers. Besides, with this update we start adding new design themes, so that the software could better fit your style. The first is DARK THEME. Yes, it's back!
Here is the list of main new features:
- Dark Theme (you can set it in Options)
- Multiple books selection using Shift (like in GMail)
- Automated book site plug-in update
- Duplicates control (the new item in the sidebar tree)
- Improved List View (more smooth scrolling, description alignment)
- Improved Thumbnail View (more smooth scrolling, search as you type)
- Improved Book Properties window design
- Web Update Options
- Book double-click options (now you can select to open Book Properties, Book File, 3D Book)
- Autoload last opened database
- Improved File Manager (now it prevents duplicates and file overwriting)
- Export books to CSV
All existing users of 0.7 version or higher can update for v.1.9 for FREE. Shortly you'll get an email with personal download link. If you are an existing customer and haven't received the update email, please contact support@alfaebooks.com and inform your name and Order #.

Hi, I've just downloaded the new version and I want to thank you for the multiple selection feature.
But I tried to use the Plugin Update tool - it seems not working, because the opened window is empty
Hi, it just means that all your plugins are up to date and you don't need to update them

I evaluated 1.8 and while the program show promise I found rather discouraging that you couldn't do a mass web update for all your scanned books.
Hi, the current AEM version is 1.9. Give it a try - it can update multiple books from the Web by ISBN (Web Update tool)

Is it possible to select fields that I want to export to CSV file?
Hi, the software exports all fields to CSV by default. Then you can open CSV file in Excel and delete fields that you don't need
I am really so much thankful to the publishers of this new version of Alfa ebooks. The updated seems much more useful and informative too. I had completed the older version ages ago and I had been waiting for these updates since so long, since I was working on some Essay writing regarding some school projects. I have already downloaded the updated version and I am loving it since it has this multiple features included, and lots and lots of information. I have not completed reading all those but I will soon complete all those.
